Julie, Dan and Audrey Hannah Photo

I cannot put into words the blessing it is to 2nd shoot with Hannah Brooks of Audrey Hannah Photo. She is so gifted and down right inspiring to shoot beside. When I take pictures with Hannah and her husband Brian, I always learn so many helpful and valuable things about photography. Please check out Audrey Hannah Photo and Brian's business Innovado. These two make one talented couple!

This was the first time I took pictures at a wedding where I didn't know the bride or groom, which ultimately felt like such a privilege! Julie and Dan were so laid back and completely enjoyable. I found myself jealous over their wedding party...everyone was filled with laughter and joy. It was also a beautiful day in March, which can be hard to come by here in Colorado Springs.

Enjoy the shots of this great couple!

This baby was right in front of me during the wedding...I couldn't resist!

Nathan, Jamie and Rachael Hope Photography!

Earlier this month I had the privilege of shooting a wedding with Rachael MacPhee of Rachael Hope Photography. The experience was so insightful because we took the majority of pictures inside, which can add up to funky lighting issues, but these turned out great! I learned so much from Rachael and soaked up every piece of her advice and instruction. She is a gifted and wonderful photographer...anyone would be lucky to have her do their wedding or engagement.
Enjoy these pictures from Nathan and Jamie's wedding...it was so much fun and
they are an incredible couple! I think this idea was brilliant! Nice work Rachael!

Wonderful friend...Bekah.

Two weeks ago I had the joy of a very last minute trip to Austin, TX to visit my dear friend Bekah! I love visiting Texas and this time was no exception. Don't mess with Texas.

Five years ago Bekah and I worked at a Christian camp together where I was the coordinator and she was the cook. Imagine it...two young women just out of college spending an entire summer and fall together in the mountains of Colorado. Needless to say, countless hours of You've Got Mail and washing dishes united our hearts. One time Bekah even dropped a whole pan of lasagna on the floor that was meant to feed many guests. No need to worry folks, we fed it to the staff instead!

I truly can't say enough about this dear friend of mine. We've been through a lot together in our mere 5 years as friends, but it's just the beginning of a life long friendship. She is beautiful, smart, an amazing cook, dedicated to the Lord, filled with integrity and strength. The one thing I love about Bekah is that she's never met a stranger. The minute someone meets her they immediately feel at home. The Lord has definitely blessed her with the spiritual gift of hospitality...true Texas style.

Finding a friend like Bekah is a true blessing from the Lord.

Bekah was kind enough to be my guinea pig for the camera. I think she looks fabulous! Enjoy!

The Spicer Family

What a joy it was to photograph the Spicer family! I remember the moment I met them four years ago and they only had two little boys. Now they have four kiddos...sweet as can be. Watching their family grow over the years has been nothing short of a privilege and honor. The Spicer's are some of the most sincere, loving, God honoring and generous people I know. Enjoy the photos and this wonderful family!
