Wonderful friend...Bekah.

Two weeks ago I had the joy of a very last minute trip to Austin, TX to visit my dear friend Bekah! I love visiting Texas and this time was no exception. Don't mess with Texas.

Five years ago Bekah and I worked at a Christian camp together where I was the coordinator and she was the cook. Imagine it...two young women just out of college spending an entire summer and fall together in the mountains of Colorado. Needless to say, countless hours of You've Got Mail and washing dishes united our hearts. One time Bekah even dropped a whole pan of lasagna on the floor that was meant to feed many guests. No need to worry folks, we fed it to the staff instead!

I truly can't say enough about this dear friend of mine. We've been through a lot together in our mere 5 years as friends, but it's just the beginning of a life long friendship. She is beautiful, smart, an amazing cook, dedicated to the Lord, filled with integrity and strength. The one thing I love about Bekah is that she's never met a stranger. The minute someone meets her they immediately feel at home. The Lord has definitely blessed her with the spiritual gift of hospitality...true Texas style.

Finding a friend like Bekah is a true blessing from the Lord.

Bekah was kind enough to be my guinea pig for the camera. I think she looks fabulous! Enjoy!

Bekah looks just beautiful, as usual. Great shots, Sa! P.s. - how do you know just how far to turn the camera to get those cool, diagonal shots??!
