Final Post- New Blog Has Been Born :)

Well faithful readers and followers...the time has come to move on to a new blog. It's honestly a little bittersweet for me because my photography business started with this blog...it's been such a familiar place for me to show you my work. However, I started realizing that I needed more within my blog and after months of hard work...it's finally ready!

Love Affair '09

Lately I've been waking up with photography on my mind...I just love it and am so excited for what the Lord's doing. God has provided me with quite a few photo shoots in the months to come and I'm overwhelmed by His goodness. Posting my new photos will be a ton of fun and I'd love your feedback.

As I dream of doing photography full-time, I am amazed at the resources now available to photographers. I follow a photographer named Lauren Clark. She is located in Texas (need I say more...I love Texas) and her photos are simply brimming with life and color and fun. My good friend Rachael MacPhee told me about her and I'm so thankful. Lauren's photos provide me with inspiration and wonderful ideas...check her out.

Through Lauren Clark's blog I've learned about a workshop called Love Affair, which is a 3 day event completely dedicated to women in the photography industry. All aspects of owning your own photography business are discussed and focused upon. It looks like such an AMAZING experience...one I'd love to be part of some day.

Yes...I'm just getting started with this journey of photography...but I absolutely love it. And I believe the Lord is blessing it every day. The opportunity to attend Love Affair '09 would be one that I am unable to describe in words. I believe it would be a privilege. There's so much I want to learn and I feel like a sponge right now- I long to soak up all I can.

Matt & Liane....dear friends.

Today I had a great time at Garden of the Gods with Matt and Liane...dear friends. They are both filled with the joy of the Lord and are true blessings in my life. Liane was my matron of honor and Matt has been a wonderful friend to James. We love Matt and Liane!
