Sneak Peeks- Newborn & Engagement

I just wanted to touch base and let you all know that I'm in the process of revamping my blog. So...there will be a lull in posts and updates. BUT I couldn't let you all know that without post a couple sneak peeks at recent shoots. Below is sweet Sophia Grace and awesome couple Josh and Rachel. Enjoy!

Elizabeth and Kyle- Engagement

September is one of my favorite months and this year it's going to be especially great because I have the honor of photographing Elizabeth and Kyle's wedding!! Aren't these two adorable together?!

Early in May we met for their engagement shoot and we had a wonderful time. We made the most of downtown Colorado Springs, laughed a lot, and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

I cannot wait for September when I get to spend even more time with these two love birds...but for now I'll settle for the photos :) Enjoy!

Lauren & Kevin- Engagement

Meet Lauren and Kevin. Two adorable, beautiful, and completely enjoyable people!! I absolutely LOVED our time together as we took these photos.This post is long overdue so I'm going to keep it short...but look for these 2 this fall when they get married in October! I am already excited about the fall :)

Jeff & Lindsay- Engaged!

For 3 years I taught at Colorado Springs Christian High School. Looking back, I had the privilege to know so many incredible high school students. It's been a few years since teaching, and I love getting updates on old students...what they're up to now and where God has taken them.

Meet Jeff and Lindsay. Both were students while I taught at CSCS. While I did not personally teach them, I knew them because they were both very involved in sports and student activities. I remember when they started dating...

Fast forward 4 years- Jeff's a senior at West Point, Lindsay's a senior at Colorado State University...and they're planning their wedding!! I love stories of high school sweethearts :)

And are they not a gorgeous couple!!??!! I'm so excited for June 2011 when I'll have the honor of photographing their wedding.

Chris & Becky- Engagement

Working at Compassion International has been an incredible blessing. One of the amazing things about Compassion is the work they do to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. I'm honored to be part of an organzation like that!

But I must say that working at Compassion gives the opportunity to meet incredible people. I met Chris and Becky through my job in communications. They are both communication gurus and are very good at it. Oh...did I mention they're incredible?

Chris and Becky got engaged not long after I started working at Compassion. It has been so fun hearing about all their wedding plans and dreams. They truly are made for one another. I mentioned to Becky that I was getting started in photography which opened up the door for me to do their engagement photos.

I was pretty nervous to do their pictures because I'd never done engagement photos before, but knowing the easy going nature of both Chris and Becky I knew I had nothing to worry about. They were so much fun to hang out with- the nerves disappeared the minute I met up with them. And boy are they photogenic!! Seriously...they couldn't take a bad picture if they tried.

May the Lord bless you Chris and Becky as you start your marriage in August. I know you'll walk each day together beautifully! Congratulations!
